Howard "Santana" Davis

Howard “Santana” Davis was a 7 time all American at Texas A&M university. He specialized in the 400m (44.87sec ), 200m (20.70sec), 100m (10.39sec). Once he completed his collegiate track career Santana went on to represent Jamaica in the 1988 Olympics games in Soul Korea, and 1992 Olympics in Barcelona Spain running the 400m, 4x400m and 4x100m relays. In the Soul Korea Olympics Santana participated in the open 400m run where he reached the semifinals, placing 6th. He also participated in 4x400m relay where the Jamaican team took second place in the finals and won the Olympic Silver medal. Santana went on to run professionally overseas on the European circuit representing adidas international. Since coming to Arizona, Santana has coached specific speed training around the valley for all sports at high school, college, and professional level.
